Being unhoused in New Jersey affects 13,748 people (an 8.5% increase from 2024) according to a January 2025 Point-In-Time (PIT) Count. *

The report also indicated that:

  • 56% identified as Male / 40% Female.

  • 20% were children under the age of 18.

  • 24% were adults ages 55+.

  • 5% are Veterans

  • 45% reported one or more disabilities.

  • 23% (2,307 households) have been homeless between 1 - 3 years.

  • The average family size is 3.1 persons.
